The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit card for the upcoming University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024. Candidates who have registered for the June exam session can now download their hall tickets from the official UGC NET website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in
The UGC-NET June 2024 exam is scheduled for June 18,
2024, and will be conducted in two shifts: from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from
3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This exam is designed to determine candidates' eligibility
for the "Award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant
Professor," "Appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to
Ph.D.," and "Admission to Ph.D. Only" at universities and
colleges throughout India.
UGC NET Admit Card - Steps to Download
- Visit the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
- Click on the ‘download admit card’ link displayed on the homepage.
- Login with your unique credentials (application number and DOB).
- The admit card will be displayed on the screen.
- Check, and download the same for future reference.
The candidates must produce the printout of the admit
card at the allotted venue for appearing at the examination.
The UGC NET June 2024 exam is scheduled for June 18
and will be conducted in two shifts. The morning shift, from 9:30 AM to 12:30
PM, will cover 42 subjects; while the afternoon shift, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM,
will include exams for 41 subjects.
Total duration for both papers combined is three hours. Both papers consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). A total of 150 questions are asked, with 50 questions in Paper 1 and 100 questions in Paper 2. There is no negative marking in the exam.
