Australia's reply was spirited but insufficient. Josh Inglis top-scored with a brisk 30-ball 55, but with only nine batters available, they were always facing an uphill battle. Ashton Agar, promoted to open the innings, provided a bright start with 28 off 13 balls but fell to Obed McCoy.
